You can make this delicious Mutton Curry with the help of two common spices in the kitchen. I believe that many spices can overcome the natural taste of the meat.
So I came up with a simple recipe using fresh green peppers and ginger with this goat meat (mutton/lamb).

What we need: Only a heavy bottom pan
- Mutton curry pieces 2.2 lbs. (1 kg)
- onions 2 (thinly sliced )
- Green chilies 2 (cut julienne style)
- Ginger 1/4 (cut julienne style)
- Tomatoes 1 cup
- water 1 cup
- chili flakes 1 tbsp.
- turmeric powder 1 tbsp.
- salt to taste
- cooking oil 1/4 cup
In a heavy bottom pan, fry onions in cooking oil until golden brown.
Add ginger pieces and green chillies and fry a little more to bring out the
Now add goat curry pieces and toss it on medium high heat.
Combine turmeric powder, salt and crushed red chilies and mix well.
add water, then cover and cook for 25 minutes on low heat.
As the meat is partially tenderized, combine diced tomatoes, then cover and cook on low heat for another 20 minutes.
Note: check the gravy consistency; if you prefer the gravy to be thicker in consistency, cook uncovered for a few minutes so that the water evaporates.
Garnish with green chilies, cilantro (green coriander) and ginger.
Note: best served with naan/flatbread.
