Isn’t it enticing to eat mouthwatering food? But I know many people can’t afford it. But don’t worry today, we are going to make a Mughlai Chicken in restaurant style and believe me you can’t resist yourself after eating it.

So enough of the chatter, let’s start our yummy recipe. Before making it make sure you have all the essential ingredients.

First of all, you need to marinate the chicken.

Process To Marinate The Chicken

Ingredients:

  • Onion Paste 2tbsp
  • Garlic paste 1/2 tbsp
  • Ginger paste 1tbsp
  • Tomato Paste 2tbsp
  • Cumin Powder 1tsp
  • Coriander Powder 2tsp
  • Chili Powder 1tbsp
  • Turmeric Powder 1/2tbsp
  • Hot Spice Mixture 1/4 Tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Ghee 1 Tbsp
  • Chicken 1 Kg

Take a bowl and add all the ingredients one by one. After finish, the process adds chicken into a bowl. Now start mixing it, don’t forget to cover it.

Process To Make The Gravy of Mughlai Chicken

Ingredients

  • Oil 1/3 cup
  • Butter 1.5 Tbsp
  • Bay leaves two pieces
  • Cinnamon 1 to 2
  • Cloves 3 to 4
  • Onion 1 cup chopped

It’s time to turn on the flame. If the oil is hot enough, add butter to it and let it melt. Add bay leaves, cinnamon, and cloves. Fry it until they turn brown. Now add the marinated chicken and give a mix. Cook the chicken and medium flame for 5-7 minutes. When you think the raw smell is vanishing from the chicken, cover it with a cap. Reduce the heat to medium-low and allow it to cook for 15mins. But make sure to remove the cover and stir it 2-3 times.

Make a homemade cream while the chicken is cooking.

So all you need is:

  • Malai Cream 1/4 cup
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Milk 1/4 cup

Mix all the ingredients until creamy. Add it to the Mughlai gravy. You can add heavy cream instead of homemade cream if you do not want to add homemade cream. Don’t forget to add hot spice mixture 1/4 tsp, raisin 2tsp, kewra water 1tsp, and green chilies 2-4 pieces.

Stir and mix everything. Then cover and cook for 5 minutes on a medium flame.

Now Your restaurant-style Mughlai chicken is ready. You don’t need to go outside to eat it. Having a paratha in breakfast with this Mughlai chicken is not a bad idea.
