Crispy Onion Rings Recipe

Difficulty: Easy, Duration: 15-20 minutes
What we need: wok and a bowl

Ingredients:

  • large onion
  • All purpose flour
  • cornstarch
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • Paprika/red chilli powder
  • cold sparkling water
  • breadcrumbs as much as needed
  • Mustard sauce

MIXER FOR DIPPING:

Take a bowl, add ¾ cup all purpose flour, ¼ cup cornstarch, 1 tea spoon black pepper, ½ tea spoon salt, 1 tea spoon red chilli powder/paprika powder , ⅓ tea spoon mustard sauce/paste

Mix it well with Katlery beater

Add 3/4 cup cold sparkling water or (cold water ) to turn it to a liquid paste

Onions and crumbs:

Take 1 or 2 large onions, slice into 1/4 pieces.
Take 1 cup panko bread crumbs in a bowl.

PROCEDURE:
Take a wok add 1 and ½ cup oil, heat the oil to medium to high flame for 5 to 7 mints until it gets ready to fry, dip the onion’s individual/separate pieces into the mixer and coat it properly then dip in bread crumbs and cover it completely then put it in the wok.

Fry Onion Rings:

Now put oil in a wok and deep fry the onion rings until it turns golden brown and crispy.
