What we need: roller pin, fry-pan and baking tray.
For chicken filling
- Boneless chopped chicken: 1 kg
- Red chili powder: 1 tsp
- Coriander powder: 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste.
- Paprika powder: 1 tsp
- Tandoori masala powder: 1 tsp
- Chopped onions: 1 or 2
- Chopped capsicum: 1 or 2
- Red hot sauce: 2 tbsp
- ketchup (optional): 1 tbsp
For the dough
- All purpose flour: 6 cups
- Salt: 1 tsp
- Sugar: 2 tbsp
- Baking powder: 1 tsp
- Baking soda: 1 tsp
- Instant yeast: 2 tbsp
- Milk powder: 2 tbsp
- Some sesame seeds.
- Some kalonji seeds
- Beaten egg: 1
- Some thyme or Oregano.

Mix all the dry ingredients for the dough. Then take some lukewarm water and knead the dough nicely.
When the dough is kneaded nice and smooth, grease it with oil. Shift it into a big container, cover it and keep aside for 2 hours.
Meanwhile, prep the chicken masala. Finely chop chicken.
Now heat oil as much as you need and add chicken to it, not only chicken but also add One by one all the powders and keep mixing.
Simmer the chicken for 5 minutes. Then add chopped onions, capsicum and green chili’s.
Add the sauce and ketchup, nicely mix and the chicken is done.
After 2 hours, dough will rise into double size. Take small portion of dough, roll it into oval shape and place chicken, cheese as shown in the video.
Place all the rolls in a greased baking tray. After you’ve set the rolls, again leave them for 20 minutes to rise further.
After 20 minutes, egg wash the rolls, season with some sesame seeds, kalonji seeds and Thyme/Oregano.
Preheat the oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes, bake the rolls for 25 to 30 minutes at 180 degrees.
Now serve your dinner cheese rolls with some melted butter on top. Enjoy!
